Year round, the European TGV Paris -Milan provides up to four connections per day and stop at Modane. In the winter additional trains operates between Paris and Modane. Many regional connections link Modane with Lyon and Chambery.
By road:
Very convenient access from the A43 or A41 Alpine motorways from Geneva, Lyon, Valence, exit Modane -Haute Maurienne Vanoise and RD1006 to Modane . Aussois is 7 km ( D215 ) .
In summer access possible via the great Alpine passes of Mont Cenis, Iseran and Galibier .
Aussois is 107 km from Chambery, 145 km from Grenoble , 200 km from Lyon and 110 km from Turin.
By plane:
Aussois is less than 2 hours drive from Lyon, Geneva, Chambéry, Annecy and Torino airport. Shuttle runs between airports and Modane in winter Saturdays.
